PORTRAITS
When I do portraits of people, I don't want to simply show them on the outside. I want you to look at my portrait and see a person's personality I want you to see their life about them. What makes them who they are.
I want you to look into the eyes of my subjects and feel as if they are trying to speak to you. I want you drawn into the image. I want you to become part of their world. But not permanantly, this isn't the Twilight Zone.

TRUE MINIATURES
This collection is a representation of my miniatures. These are the paintings which represent my start in really showing my paintings. For some reason, my paintings, when small, tend to be more whimsical. Apparently I have a small imagination, and it fits nicely on a small canvas.

NUDES
Nudes, the most interesting of subjects in art. Whether male or female, the nude displays the potential grace of the human form. Standing, sitting, together or alone, the body presents emotions and attitudes without uttering a word. There are people who make a living interpreting what someone's body language is trying to say, even as the lips utter something totally opposite.
Of course, my nudes are forever silent, but I think they have alot to say.

FIGURES
When I paint a person, not necessarily a protrait, I will take this opportunity to let the story teller within me escape.
Look at the paintings and see what their story is all about. Start with my description. But look deeper. Invariably there is something more, usually an emotion, or a change. I try to show an instant in time, inwhich an entire story unfolds.

EQUINE ART AND OTHER FRIENDS
Starting with horses, progressing thru cats, dogs and the various other animals which, thru time, have become an integral part of the human environment. Some as friends, family or servants, but all earning our respect as we come to know them.
